The AbilityList Mission
We exist to help people with disabilities live to their fullest potential by connecting them to every resource that is available to them.
56 Million people with disabilities live in the US and millions are isolated because they can not find and don't know about all of the resources, information and people that can help them.
AbilityList is changing that.
• ABILITY LIST is like "craigslist" for the disabled community. A online resource sharing platform for people with disabilities and those that serve them to find and SHARE the programs, services and organizations that are available in their hometown.
• Searchable categories include; non-profits, jobs, activities, government programs, grants, healthcare, products, personals and discussion boards.
• ABILITY LIST is specialized to serve the four major disability categories; Physical, Cognitive/ Developmental, Sensory and Psycho/ Emotional.
• ABILITY LIST serves three users; 1. People with disabilities and caretakers/guardians 2. Resource Providers (non-profits and government) and 3. For-profit resource and product providers (companies and individual practitioners.)
