The Babele Mission
We aim to introduce a new paradigm in the way projects are shaped and managed based on open source collaboration that aims to engage local communities and individuals in the design and implementation of sustainable development projects
Babele is an online innovation-center open to anyone who has an idea or a project and would like to make it happen with the help of a community. Babele offers entrepreneurs the methodology to convert their idea into a viable social business, validate the key assumptions with the crowd and find the right people to help them develop it. This online platform is based on a crowdsourcing approach to social innovation.
We also believe that there should be a more sustainable approach in the way projects are shaped: therefore we actively search sustainable development projects to support via our platform and we encourage all other projects that enter the platform to take into consideration their environmental and societal impact.
Emanuele Musa is graduated in electronic engineering at the Politecnico di Torino, and in International Management at the European School of Management ESCP. He is at the origin of the idea, he made the design of the platform and holds workshops on business modeling in order to promote the platform. Previous work experience include: Project Planning and Management for Procter & Gamble in Paris, financial analysis at the Fund Manager "AE Global Investment Solutions ltd" in London.
Ruxandra Creosteanu is graduated in International Management at the European School of Management ESCP (Paris - London - Berlin), she is responsible for the partnerships with incubators, accelerators and universities, with the community management and PR strategy. Ruxandra speaks fluently 5 languages and she previously worked as a manager consultant within the sustainability team at Deloitte and as a manager of a supermarket at Carrefour.
Life at Babele
We are currently working from the amazing coworking space the HUB Bucharest. We are very flexible and in love with traveling, especially because of the workshops we're organizing (we organized workshops in nine different countries, and are planning many more). Therefore we are jumping from one coworking space to the other and love collaborating with people remotely. It will all depend on you if you want to join us in Romania and work from here, or work from a coworking space in the city were you are living and work with us remotely.
