We're trying to level the playing field by empowering individuals to change the world. Existing nonprofits must raise hundreds of millions of dollars and leverage massive direct marketing campaigns to attract members. We're democratizing activism by empowering activists with an arsenal of tools for normal people to support the causes they care about and get their friends and family involved.

Our Facebook application, Causes, is one of the largest on Facebook with over 17M users and has directly raised more than $3 million for small and large nonprofits.

We also have an application on MySpace and an independent application that we maintain for our nonprofit partners.

Our team of engineers has a strong technical background and varying levels of business experience. We have Master’s and Bachelor’s graduates from schools including Stanford, UC Berkeley and UC San Diego. We’re a young and energetic team with specific interest in accomplishing the social mission of the company.

We're very casual and have a flat organizational structure. A sense of humor is required of all engineers, as is a serious set of skills. We like people who are passionate about making a tangible social impact, not just putting widgets on web pages. We produce top quality software and respect those who do the same.

Our headquarters are located in Berkeley, California, 2 blocks from the Downtown Berkeley BART station. We’re right in the middle of a cornucopia of amazing food, culture and people.
