Our Team
The founders are three physics PhDs from MIT and we're passionate about data. Together we've got more than 15 years experience analyzing large (petabyte-scale) data sets from the most complex experiments ever built, including the Large Hadron Collider at CERN.
We've built a strong technical team with experts in database technology, data analytics, UI/UX, and cloud operations.

Life at Cloudant
We're a young, energetic company still building our culture. We were funded originally by Y Combinator and we've since raised a series A with an awesome Boston VC. We have offices in Boston and Seattle. We have strong ties with the open source community and we regularly contribute code to a number of open source projects.
