The Counsyl Mission

Our goal is to make the human genome practically useful for life-altering decisions.

Our Products

We've invented the Universal Genetic Test, a breakthrough diagnostic intended for parents planning to start a family.

The test won the Wall Street Journal Innovation Award for Medicine, was named one of Scientific American's "Top 10 World Changing Ideas", and was featured in the New York Times.

Our test is now offered at hundreds of medical centers and covered by insurance, all within the first year after launch.

Our Team

We're looking for people who are excited about solving the practical last mile problems needed to actually achieve a return on our society's multibillion dollar investment in the Human Genome Project. While we're particularly interested in laboratory scientists, software engineers, and field representatives, we'd love to hear from you if you've got great skills that don't fit into the usual boxes.

Life at Counsyl

Located in South San Francisco in a spacious 60,000 square foot office, an in-house gym with free classes, full-stocked fridge, catered lunches/dinners and fun activities every day.
