The Curoverse, Inc. Mission
Next-generation sequencing is driving an explosion in big data that poses unique challenges for bioinformaticians, computational biologists, and the IT teams that support them. At Curoverse, we’re addressing those infrastructure challenges with a platform that makes storing, organizing, and processing these data faster, easier, and more affordable.
We're building an open source software platform called Arvados (http://arvardos.org) which will provide the computational and storage infrastructure for precision medicine -- healthcare that leverages the analysis of genomic and biomedical data to prevent, diagnose, and treat a wide range of diseases.
Our founding team brings together engineers and scientists from the Personal Genome Project at Harvard Medical School and experienced enterprise software entrepreneurs.
