HICKIES created an elastic lacing system that replaces traditional shoelaces and turns any sneaker into a slip on. You can customize your footwear and never tie or untie your shoes again.

Besides its functional features HICKIES is a fashion product that aims to be positioned and perceived as a lifestyle design product.

We are a start up that recently finished a successful Kickstarter campaign, and now we are ready to launch in a big way! Thus we need to create a community of engaged members and HICKIES fanatics. We love technology and digital media and we want to use all tech tools available to promote our low-tech fashion design product.

GASTON FRYDLEWSKI, FOUNDER AND CREATOR OF HICKIES

•Gast�n Frydlewski (31 years old), created HICKIES. He designed the product, researched the materials and its production process and patented the concept.
•Worked at J.P. Morgan from 2006 to 2011 in the Latin America M&A team working from the Buenos Aires and NY offices. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, he worked at Telef�nica in its strategic planning and innovation groups.
•Obtained his undergraduate degree in business administration from Universidad de San Andr�s in Buenos Aires, and a masters degree in finance from the same institution.
•Gaston’s experience includes M&A, JVs and capital markets transactions (IPOs and corporate bonds) in the US, Latam and Asia for a total transaction value of over us$7bn.
