In addition, we are the first company to build a booking engine in the last 10 years and have an extensive back end system for managing hotels and inventory.

HotelTonight was founded by travel-industry pioneers.

Our CEO Sam Shank was CEO of DealBase, a travel deals search engine. He was also CEO of TravelPost.com, a hotel reviews site that was acquired by SideStep and he stayed on as VP of business development until the company was acquired by Kayak.

Our COO Jared Simon helped lunched the hotel business at Orbitz.com and served as general manager of the company's Lodging.com brand.

Our CTO Chris Bailey was CTO of DealBase.com and earlier was an architect and senior computer scientist at Adobe Systems.
