LocalUncle gives you the ability to know what's happening anywhere in the world, right now. Yes, this is "teleportation-as-a-service" and yes, it's from the future.
LocalUncle sits on top of Foursquare, the most popular check-in service in the world. After connecting your Foursquare account to LocalUncle you can start asking questions about places and areas you care about. We then route your questions intelligently and in real-time, to other LocalUncles who are currently at these places. If nobody's there, we route your questions to LocalUncles who have been there recently and often. You'll typically get an answer, from a real human being, within 5 minutes or less. Truly magical.

We are two co-founders, both engineers who got their degrees at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH Zurich). That's the same university where Einstein got his Physics degree from and where he taught Physics. We're not saying that we're as smart as Albert, but boy can we push code and pixels! Also: We're pretty good at getting users and money!
