A MessageParty is a group-written collection of short messages - similar to a blog - about stuff/events/places around you. It's built like chat - so if there are other people around you on MessageParty you can interact with them as well. Through our mobile application, you can see active Parties in your vicinity and contribute to them. You can view current and archived Parties on the web at messageparty.net.

Parties that are especially active will be moved to the "Featured Parties" list.

The two founders Jason and Amanda met at MIT and are joined by a totally awesome designer named Jarod.

We work in a shared office space called the Makery in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. There are a group of other startups that we share space with - Bnter, Jauntsetter, Super + Fun, and a few others.
