Roses & Rye is a San Francisco based apparel business inspired by and created for Moms.

Roses & Rye was founded in 2011 by husband and wife team, Patricia Calfee and Ian Picache. This is not the first time they have worked together. Previously, they created Bergine, a flash-sale business that was acquired by Gilt Groupe in 2010.

Prior to Bergine, Patricia created an online resource and classroom curriculum for K12 students and families. In 2009, she donated the non-profit program to the San Francisco Unified School District and was honored with an AT&T Community Hero Award.

Ian is a venture capitalist and entrepreneur. He has invested in a variety of businesses spanning a wide range of industries, previously with Technology Crossover Ventures, Vanguard Ventures and Telesoft Partners and currently with Picache Holdings, LLC.

Roses & Rye is headquartered one block from Pac Bell Park on Townsend Street in San Francisco. Steeped in history, our design studio is located in a working garment building.
