The Shotgun Software Mission

At Shotgun we're building project collaboration software for the visual effects, animation, and video game industries.

Our Products

Our products are designed and constructed with care, and used at over 350 studios across the globe to track, schedule, and review creative work. Our main product is Shotgun, a production platform for storing notes, tasks, versions, and other important production data. Shotgun connects people at the studio and keeps information flowing so studios finish projects on time and under budget. Our upcoming products (Revolver and Tank) will build off the Shotgun platform to help creatives do their jobs without getting bogged down by the complexities of modern day production.

Our Team

We are a passionate group of people tackling interesting problems and having a blast. Most of us are foodies, we love good wine, and we're officially obsessed with coffee. We have a strict no-asshole rule, and we are trying to build a dream team of people who inspire one another every day.

Life at Shotgun Software

For the most part, we're a distributed team working primarily from the eastern and western US, Canada, and the UK. We have a nice office in Venice, CA, which some of the senior staff call home, and we're starting up a London team devoted to our new asset management product, Tank. We work hard, but we absolutely insist that our team has a flexible schedule and a healthy work/life balance.
