Skoodio is a Web and mobile platform that helps students leverage the power of crowdsourcing techniques to create, manage, and administer their own online peer review surveys around their work. In addition to online peer reviews the near-term product roadmap includes 1.) a re-imagining of the digital portfolio experience in light of recent disruptive technologies and formats such as cloud and mobile computing, 2.) a true, Web 2.0 online social learning network experience, and 3) a public and private showcase (and ultimately marketplace) for exhibiting student work. This is a real opportunity to both transform teaching and learning for the next decade or two and to make lots of money doing it. The Founder has a long history of leading the design, development, and implementation of large scale, org-wide business applications and systems and have worked in the education vertical for over a decade as a student, teacher, technologist, information architect, businessman, entrepreneur, and software designer.

He is looking for a CTO/Co-Founder to help lead application development and engineering of the Web and mobile application. CTO/Co-Founder must be willing to get hands dirty and code out first prototype for the MVP. I have a strong background in user interaction and experience design and have a detailed vision of initial product proto v1.0 nearly complete. The associated wireframes for the minimum viable product can be shared to help highlight core solution, sustainable advantages, and vision. The Founder would love to bring in a super brilliant developer/engineer who has a passion for transforming the education system and dramatically improving learning for students.

We are new and still looking into creating a dynamic environment and culture to work in. The Founder is currently living and working in San Francisco but would be open to New York as well.
