Jason Trost - CEO / Co-founder BA, Northwestern University. Prior to founding Smarkets, Jason was an application developer at UBS's Global Asset Management (New York) where he focused on innovative web technologies. Previously, Jason founded internet startup Descipher, a consumer medical website. Jason had previously been an equities trader at Great Point Capital (Chicago). He holds a degree in Computing and Information Systems.

Hunter Morris - CTO / Co-founder, BS, Northwestern University. Prior to founding Smarkets, Hunter was a senior software engineer at Wolverine Trading (Chicago / London). Hunter was responsible for developing market making systems and trading infrastructure for Wolverine's derivatives trading desks. He holds a degree in Computer Science.

Karsten Wiese, Creative Director. Prior to joining Smarkets, Karsten has worked as an interactive art director and designer since 1998. His portfolio is diverse, ranging from entertainment to B2B sites. Karsten's
