Our mission at Sookasa is to liberate employees to freely use their favorite consumer services at work, by enabling the enterprise to adopt popular cloud services. We are looking for talented hackers with a strong sense of ownership, urgency and drive, to join us at this very early stage on our quest to revolutionize the workplace. You will be working with a small experienced team in an exciting, fast-paced environment leading the charge towards the consumerization of IT. We already have 6 large committed beta customers, including top Silicon Valley household names.

We are building a complex distributed system that will have to store, aggregate and analyze data from multiple services and devices. The system will involve a wide set of technical challenges, from data visualization, data analytics, distributed storage, file systems, databases, networking and more.

Sookasa is a very early stage start-up, founded by an experienced team (serial entrepreneur who sold a company to Cisco, Stanford PhD and ex-Cisco Director), and funded by top VCs including Andreessen Horowitz, First Round Capital, SV Angels, Lerer Ventures and others.

We are looking for very friendly people that will be fun to work with! It's not worth devoting your life to a start-up if you're not having fun.

Our start-up sits right between the consumer and enterprise, and provides the best of both worlds. We strive to have the quality, customer commitment, lean startup mentality and culture of a consumer company, while enjoying the fact that we have real enterprise customers that can pay big bucks to buy our products.
