Trapit is born out of a $200 million artificial intelligence project completed by DARPA and SRI -- you know, the guys who invented the...Internet. Known as CALO (it stands for "Cognitive Assistant that Learns and Organizes"), the project was initiated to address that problem of "too much data, not enough time.
