We at WordStream believe search engine marketing, as an industry, remains in its infancy. The dominant player in paid search advertising is undoubtedly Google, and the company is just 10 years old.

Given the speed with which search has expanded, it's hard to believe that the future could hold similar potential growth, but we're confident it does.

So where will this growth come from? Well, we believe a major source of growth will be technology; specifically tools which make search marketing more accessible to more companies, as well as software which has the capacity to make individual marketers more efficient and effective. In short: the future of search marketing is in enabling productivity.

We aim to be the leader in this productivity enhancement. Our mission is to make search marketers more effective by constantly innovating and automating on their behalf.
