XLerant is a software solutions company that builds and implements practical, but incredibly powerful budget preparation software for mid-sized organizations. We believe in the Art & Science of budgeting. We combine the science of prepackaged budgeting functionality and reporting with the arts of: communications throughout the process; balance of financial control, user flexibility and IT standards and process coaching and guidance along the way.

Our solution is a complete offering of sophisticated, yet simple to implement and use software, implementation support, user training, and on-going support. We incorporate the principles of information architecture, and the psychology of everyday things, in the design of our flagship products.

The founders combine serial-startup experience with financial and systems professional experience at Fortune 500 companies. They had the vision of dramatically improving the archaic and senseless budgeting process that they experienced at these large companies but with the intention of rolling it out to mid-sized companies who were mired in Excel Hell.
