Our mission is three-fold:

1. To source and empower a global community of young women social entrepreneurs through innovative virtual technology.
2. To advocate for these innovators and connect them to each other and to opportunities and resources that will help them become high-impact leaders.
3. To disseminate stories and information about our young women innovators to encourage a global perception of young women as powerful contributors to society.

girltank is a movement inspired by young women leaders who are making a difference for their communities, standing up for causes they believe in and using their creativity and determination to bring forth transformative and long-lasting initiatives for the people and communities they care about.

We use technology to enhance the voices, social capital and collaborative potential of young women social entrepreneurs who are interested in or working to start, grow and scale early-to mid-stage social enterprises.

Our virtual platforms create spaces for camaraderie, inspiration, information and exchange among like-minded peers.

Our team is made up of changemakers from the worlds of journalism, non-profit management, marketing, creative design, banking/finance, project management, and IT. We have a really diverse core group at girltank. Our missing link right now is a full-time CTO!

A lot of our work is virtual! We have an amazing team, but you'll need to be able to work independently and virtually quite often.
We we're together, you'll be inspired, laugh a lot, and meet an incredible group of people who are dedicated to changing the world.
