ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT TO FOUNDER/CEO OF SUPER SPROWTZ (supersprowtz.com)

Overview
We are looking for a dedicated administrative assistant who shares the Super Sprowtz passion and vision (supersprowtz.com). You will be working directly with Super Sprowtz's Founder, Radha Agrawal, and MUST be hard working and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment (prima donnas need not apply). Also must be available for some weekday night and weekend promotional events, including book readings, puppet shows and school assemblies.

Super Sprowtz is a children’s media and entertainment start-up that "vegucates" children about food and wellness. Through our action adventure book series featuring super-powered vegetables, kids learn to love their veggies. We sell books, DVD's, shirts and an iApp that promote nutrition for kids ages 2-8.

Come with a lot of energy, passion, enthusiasm and willingness to have your hands in every cool thing we do. You will need a veggie name, but we’ll take care of that.
Responsibilities
File and manage financial records and HR records
Organize the office area and files and create systems to streamline all aspects of the company
Will be trained on how to work on the Drupal CMS system to update coupon codes, stores our products are carried in and other web assets.
Process invoices and follow up on sales
Create weekly reports of social media sites, sales, inventory and events
Manage book inventory
Update social media sites and website
Coordinate interns
Update calendar and manage Radha’s schedule
Run errands to the bank and post office
Create nutrition newsletters and manage email marketing through Feedblitz
Attend some weekend events including promotional events, book readings, puppet shows and school assemblies
Help make flyers and write letters for outreach
Research
Experience
At least one year of administrative experience
Skills
Attention to detail is a MUST
Being on time is a MUST
Must be familiar with excel
Must be organized and personable
Photoshop and some rudimentary design skills a plus
Experience with quick books a plus
Must be fast on the web
Education

Compensation
$25,000-27,000/year
