The role of AS2 App Engineer is to ensure efficient, creative execution of our next generation rich media ads for our clients. This is a multi-faceted role that encompasses ActionScripting, project management, resource management, support, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight timeframes.

Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES
Build ads using our ad builder through a point-click interface
Build custom templates using our flash API ( strong ActionScripting skills required)
Develop and manage training and information collateral for our products
Work closely with Account Management to consistently deliver high quality creatives
Experience
Experience working with JavaScript, including SWFObject, JSON, JQuery and DOM scripting. You can integrate flash applications into HTML pages and manage interaction between the two.
Understanding of and passion for rich media advertising
Self-starter with excellent problems solving, project management, and interpersonal skills
Great attention to detail and follow through
Ability to see the bigger picture with creative execution
Good understanding of analytics
Must have a great attitude and good communication skills
Skills
REQUIREMENTS
Experience with pure AS2 and AS3 (Flex-less) application development.
OO code. You write good clean OO code and are familiar with design patterns, but you're not slavish, and can be creative in organizing your code to achieve your goals.
You know when to use a pre-existing library to accomplish your goals, and when to roll your own. You are also comfortable adhering to coding standards that may not be your personal preference.
Bundling/Loading Assets. You can think intelligently about bundling assets for ad hoc run time loading. You're familiar with all the gotchas associated with instantiating loaded assets (application domains, etc).
You can work with minimal specs. You love to iterate. You know how to make something "just work" quickly, and you know when to refactor to optimize and abstract away redundancies in your code.
