As a “game-changer” and innovator in mass-market mobile commerce, Isis is seeking an experienced, analytical, and enthusiastic Marketing Account Manager to join our Sales team in Dallas, TX.
The Account Associate has the opportunity to work with the largest national retail brands on mobile marketing campaigns and in-store promotions to drive world-class, cutting edge customer engagement. This position will support one of the Account Executive (AE) of Strategic Partnership with strategy design for mobile and brand experiences creating billions of brand impressions annually. This position will be in the driver’s seat to influence the adoption of the leading mobile phone technology with the “tap” experience. This is an exciting new way to engage consumers, as they begin to interact with brands in the world around them in a totally new and different way.
The Account Associate will be responsible for supporting and growing business relationships across top-tier national merchants within an assigned vertical, supporting the AE in fulfilling merchant-specific requests for the accounts. The Account Associate will also be responsible for establishing, maintaining and growing business relationships across second tier merchants within the same vertical, including senior management, marketing, operations, legal and IT. This individual will support the overall merchant marketing effort and help set strategic direction for the partnership. The Account Associate will assist the AE with conducting extensive contract negotiations and renegotiating contractual terms as needed. This individual must demonstrate strong relationship management and interpersonal skills and with demonstrable experience managing merchants/clients relationships.
This individual will also be responsible for creating and presenting campaign concepts for the assigned accounts and should have extensive experience working with PowerPoint, Illustrator and Photoshop. Assume overall account responsibility and accountability for tier 2 merchants and serve in a support role to Account Executive’s assigned accounts, as needed.
Support the overall merchant marketing effort utilizing internal and agency resources for creative and execution.
Assist AE’s in developing Isis as a viable distribution channel within merchant’s offer strategy and set strategic direction for the marketing partnership with merchant, optimizing all marketing expenditures and PR opportunities.
Maximize Isis merchandising/POP placement at merchant to drive acceptance message.
Assist the AE’s in establishing key internal linkages across Isis to maximize merchant revenue, satisfaction and overall relationship growth. Upsell and cross-sell Isis services to generate new revenue
Key responsibilities include supporting the AE in building new revenue streams for Isis (commerce), conducting management business reviews with the merchant, maintaining high merchant satisfaction levels, ensuring no merchant cancellations & serving as “Isis point“ for all merchant initiatives, etc.
Maximize the merchant opportunity for payment acceptance, offers, loyalty programs, private label credit cards/gift card and other Isis capabilities on the roadmap over time.
Take leadership role internally at Isis to maximize account partnership programs.
Lead / Influence / provide feedback to the various internal Isis groups representing the merchant viewpoint.
Maintain strong business relationships across merchants, including senior management, marketing, operations, legal, IT, training, etc. Establish multiple merchant touch points to ensure maximum merchant relationship growth.
Manage merchant campaign performance, forecasts and key metrics with finance team.
Maintain key internal linkages including onboarding, marketing, IT, legal, sales, commerce, product development, etc.
Maintain key external linkages including 3rd party partnerships including terminal providers, credit card is
4 years + experience preferred in Project Management or Account Services preferably in Digital or Mobile Device Marketing
Strong graphic design skills and knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and PowerPoint
Strong organizational and time management skills
Passion for project creation using PowerPoint, Illustrator and Photoshop
Proficiency in Word and Excel
Attention to detail and proofreading
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Ability to work independently
Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables in support of the needs of an assigned AE
Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the desire to take direction and actively learn and grow in a dynamic and exciting department
Eagerness/willingness to pitch in on ad hoc projects with a proactive approach to supporting the team for the benefit of achieving team goals
A deep understanding of the mobile payments and/or consumer offer/coupon ecosystem is a plus.
The ability to effectively communicate internally and externally. Advance Isis’ position as a strategic partner; conveying information and ideas through clear oral and written communications and presentations.
The ability to actively influence events to achieve goals and objectives rather than accepting the way they are; proactively takes ownership and responsibility for achieving results.
A demonstrated track record of success in managing and growing business relationships with established merchant customers.
The ability to build and manage internal and external customer relationships in order to deliver business results that meet customer needs, optimize resources and maximize Isis profitability.
A general understanding of contract negotiations is a plus.
Four-year college degree in Marketing, Communications or related field required
