Account Development Specialist (Netherlands)

Do you enjoy engaging with people? VersionOne is looking for an Account Development Specialist to become an expert on generating, prospecting, and qualifying leads that drive pipeline for the VersionOne sales team. This role is not only critical, but an excellent opportunity for someone who is driven and motivated by uncovering leads that ultimately become valuable customers. We are looking for someone with high energy, process oriented yet creative and understands that it is all about effective communication (via the phone or email). In addition, the ideal candidate will have the following:
Drive new opportunities through various prospecting activities
Follow up on leads generated by inbound traffic via the website, marketing campaigns, etc.
Strategic alignment with sales team to ensure that there are shared goals
Gain comprehensive understanding of VersionOne’s products, and the agile project planning and management industry
Build and maintain strong customer relationships with prospects, partners, and customers
1-3 years of experience in a B2B sales or lead generation position
A self-starter that is highly motivated and driven
Excellent customer skills: responsive, credible, consultative, and knowledgeable
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to thrive in a team environment
Experience leveraging MS Office and CRM (
Knowledge or experience with Agile project management a plus
BA/BS or equivalent experience
Preferred location is the Netherlands
