Overview
Amplify is re-imagining the way teachers teach and students learn. We enable teachers to manage whole classrooms and, at the same time, empower them to offer more personalized instruction, so that students become more active, engaged learners.

Amplify is comprised of three divisions. The Amplify Insight and Amplify Learning divisions grew out of the work of Wireless Generation and, as a complement, the Amplify Access division was created shortly thereafter.
Responsibilities
Amplify provides immersive learning experiences that respond to the needs, opportunities, curiosities and motivations of students and teachers. The Account Executive will be accountable for selling Amplify’s suite of products, including literacy and math assessment, curriculum and professional services provide by both the Insight and Learning divisions. We are searching for an Account Executive who will become an expert on Amplify’s Insight and Learning solutions and deliver high quality presentations that lead to district and school level adoption in order to achieve revenue targets. The new hire must be skilled at consultative sales, highly motivated, and prepared to work long hours to build this new business. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of success selling print and technology delivered instructional products and services, possesses knowledge of the K-12 sector, works well in a fast paced company, has high energy and is driven to achieve sales goals.
*This position is responsible for the Midwest region, states to include: Illinois and Indiana. The Account Executive can be based out of either state.
Responsibilities of Account Executive:
Develop and maintain expertise in Amplify Insight and Learning products
Deliver high quality, consultative presentations demonstrating product features and benefits as they align to customer’s needs with the ability to persuade and close business
Achieve and surpass quarterly and annual revenue targets
Apply a thorough understanding of the educational marketplace, industry trends, funding developments and Amplify products to all presentations
Proven ability to advance the sale and build customer relationships to maintain and expand market penetration.
Research territory trends, competition and funding sources to strategically drive new sales
Provide timely and accurate reporting of pipeline, forecasts, account plans and territory management activities as required

Experience
Basic Qualifications:
BA/BS degree
5+ years successful direct sales experience in the education market
Proven experience with CRM systems, such as Salesforce
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven knowledge of Education sector and core curriculum market including Math, ELA and Science Common Core
Knowledge of State and local adoption timelines and process for both basal and supplemental print and technology based materials
Excellent presentation skills
Success leveraging federal funds for the purchase of technology based instructional goods and professional services
Experience with education technology
Must be able to travel and willing to commit to a heavy travel schedule up to 75% of the time, with frequent overnight stays
Strong digital skills and aptitude; intermediate Microsoft software skills (Outlook, Power Point, Word, Excel)
This position may be funded, in whole or in part, through American Recovery & Reinvestment Act funds
