Founded in January 2013 in Palo Alto, Amusing Quest is an exciting new online marketplace startup that connects parents with local kids venues and entertainers to book kids’ parties. We’re like an Expedia or OpenTable for booking kids parties. Local kids venues and entertainers can create a free listing to promote their birthday party packages and parents have an easy convenient way to search and book birthday parties for their kids. Get in on the ground floor of an exciting new startup that’s going after a huge untapped market where parents spend $10B a year.

We are growing fast and are looking for passionate, enthusiastic and motivated people to build our team and share in our fun working culture. We have a great office in downtown Palo Alto in the heart of the vibrant start up community and steps from lots of cafes, restaurants and Cal Train.

Come join a hot startup in downtown Palo Alto as an Account Executive to grow our business. The Account Executive will identify, develop and manage partnerships with local businesses that offer kids’ birthday parties to list with Amusing Quest. Local businesses include kids amusement parks & zoos, arts & crafts studios, bowling centers, children’s museums, cooking studios, dance studios, kids salons, family entertainment centers, skating rinks, gymnastics and sports facilities. We are looking for high-energy team members who thrive in doing sales, business development or customer service.
Find, reach out to, and create relationships with local kids businesses in the Bay Area to list with Amusing Quest.
Conduct daily cold calls, walk-in meetings, schedule in person presentations, and sign kids party businesses.
Identify potential kids party venues that offer popular, creative or out-of-the-ordinary party activities for kids.
Convert new and existing leads to active listings, ensuring they are complete with photos, full descriptions and an updated calendar.
Evangelize Amusing Quest’s marketplace as a unique risk-free way for businesses to acquire new customers on a pay for success basis.

Thrives in a fast-pace, exciting and flexible start-up environment.
Experience in sales or marketing to local merchants in the Bay Area (San Francisco to San Jose) is highly desirable, but we’ll train motivated candidates.
Experience canvassing and cold calling various types of local businesses is a plus.
Have a car and is willing to visit local businesses throughout the Bay Area.
Part-time or Full-time positions are available.

Competitive compensation depending on experience - starting at $15/hr + bonus/commission
