Account Executive | Sports Events

In explosive growth mode, we’re expanding our Business Development team and looking for an Account Executive to join our Sports Events Group.

As an Account Executive in our Events Group, you’ll spearhead a new growth area for CaptainU and revolutionize the sports camps & events landscape. This role will influence how athletes and their families find the best camps and events, as well as how events can reach a targeted audience of athletes and teams. Our fast-paced sales team mirrors top championship sports teams, encompassing training, teamwork, optimistic attitudes and a desire to WIN at everything we do. Responsibilities
Drive the full sales cycle to attain new business: make introductory calls, assess and qualify business goals, work with sports organizations in CaptainU’s platform, and close the deal
Qualify and manage your own opportunities: utilize online and offline sources to cultivate new leads and develop/maintain your pipeline
Make a high volume of daily outbound sales calls to sports organizations across all verticals
Achieve and consistently exceed monthly sales goals
Experience
Bachelor’s degree required
2+ successful years in high volume inside sales
Resilience and an ability to overcome objections. Positive attitude and a drive to win
Excellent technical skills including Excel, powerpoint and web proficiency
Skills
Thrive in a fast-paced and high growth environment
Are coachable, implement feedback, and are dedicated to consistent self improvement
Have demonstrated sales aptitude, with relentlessly high standards (you’re never satisfied)
Are assertive, persistent, a good listener, and persuasive
Adapt to new situations quickly and think on your feet. When faced with new challenges, or tough conversations, failure simply isn't an option
