Kargo Account Managers touch all areas of the campaign life cycle, from proposal development to campaign execution, reporting & analysis. This position requires someone who is both creative and analytical, with the ability to multi-task while maintaining strong attention to detail. Our Account Managers act as the main liaison internally between Sales and the Operations, Design, and Publishing departments, as well as externally with our advertising partners. Daily responsibilities include development of innovative proposals, campaign management, and stellar client services to strengthen relationships for growth of partnerships.

Ideate and brainstorm with sales to produce concepts and units that satisfy the clients’ branding objectives and push the envelope in terms of innovation.
Compose personalized proposals (usually in PowerPoint) & ad-unit mocks that creatively and clearly explain the units and concepts proposed.
Attend client meetings with sales to lend insight on creative concepts, best practices, and technical implementations based on past campaign experiences.
Act as a sole liaison between client and internal teams.
AM to work directly with adops, publishing, design, and engineering teams to ensure effective campaign implementation and execution. This includes running custom ad-unit concepts past engineering to confirm functionality, while simultaneously working with design to mock up a visual.
Work with adops to provide weekly reporting to client, analyze reporting results and suggest needed optimizations.
3+ years experience working a in client-facing role for a media, online or technology firm
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers, employees and clients
Ability to manage multiple conflicting deadlines
Intermediate working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint to analyze campaign results, create reports, and build clean presentations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills must be demonstrated.
Bachelor’s degree required.
