Turn is seeking experienced Account Managers to join the Client Services Team to manage Turn’s strategic client relationships and effectively deploy cross-functional resources to provide comprehensive solutions and service to these accounts in the online advertising space.
The Account Manager will be responsible for hands-on interaction with advertisers and agencies as we execute campaigns on their behalf. The Account Manager will partner with Account Executives to understand and take full ownership over campaign strategy, management, and execution to ensure success. The Account Manager will handle ongoing communication with clients, ensuring extremely high levels of customer service. The Account Manager will have the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of the ad business, help drive growth by uncovering incremental sales opportunities, and work closely with cutting-edge technology. This is a high visibility role that will see regular interaction with executives.
Develop and manage partnerships with top-tier advertising agencies and direct clients developing positive working relationship with the day-to-day operations teams at these companies
Demonstrable ability to take ownership and accountability, and act on client goals and objectives in a technical environment
Manage client expectations and work cross functionally to successfully achieve client and company goals
Monitor campaign performance and delivery to goals using technical tools and quantitative data
Prepare campaign progress reports, analysis and research leveraging Turn data for presentation to clients both during and after campaigns
Work with operations to assist with day-to-day operational processes including campaign set-up, receipt of creative or tags, trafficking, optimization and trouble-shooting
Maintain robust client status documentation and provide ongoing visibility into client status for senior management
Escalate, track and resolve key client issues
Identify opportunities and pathways for campaign success, including strategic recommendations and insights for future campaigns
Work closely with sales, marketing and product teams to support client proposal development
Grow revenue with assigned accounts through up-sell and renewals
Masters and maintains vast knowledge of accounts
4+ years experience in interactive Account Management
Client-facing Ad Agency / Publisher / Ad Network / Advertising Technology Vendor / Technical Engineering or Account Management experience in the interactive marketing space preferred
Excellent presentation, phone and written communication skills
Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills
Self-starter capable of thriving in a startup environment
Experience with online advertising management (ad serving) systems, self service bidding systems, or online shopping engine systems a major plus
Emphatic interest in online advertising
• BA/BS degree preferred with a strong academic record or relevant combination of education and experience
