Overview
The Account Representative, Renewals identifies and manages accounts up for renewal and works to ensure that the renewal is successfully closed by communicating with key contacts and/or accounts on a consistent basis. The Account Representative is responsible for following-up with customers to renew license subscriptions using a sales focused and consultative approach. The Account Representative must meet specific/pre-determined targets to ensure goals are met.

Responsibilities
Monitor assigned accounts from Purchase Order to Renewal using our CRM system / spreadsheets, tracking customer renewal status through all points of the renewal process.
Communicate with all renewal customers during budget reviews to manage renewal status.
Cultivate relationships with renewal customers to ensure their renewal is forthcoming.
Identify accounts near expiration and follow up with customers via telephone to determine their renewal status.
Communicate with all current accounts after Budget Renewal Letters are sent out in February to ensure status of renewal and verify the correct contact person.
Identify accounts that may not renew service and relay necessary information to all appropriate parties in timely manner.
Experience
Basic Qualifications:
BA/BS
2+ years of work experience in a fast paced corporate environment
Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Skills
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years CRM or Salesforce.com experience
Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
Experience with sales and/or renewing contracts
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the demonstrated ability to initiate and execute customer follow-up, with a goal toward relationship building
Self-motivated, goal and detail-oriented, persistent and dependable with strong probing skills
Must be available for travel throughout assigned territory
