Wireless Generation is looking for a high energy go getter to join our growing sales team. The ideal candidate is someone who is entrepreneurial in nature and is looking to enter the world of educational sales. Wireless Generation helps create innovative digital products that help schools in all 50 states improve teaching and learning.
The Account Representative, Sales will assist the Field Sales Representatives in achieving sales goals within their assigned territories. The Account Representative, Sales will provide a variety of sales support activities from lead generation through close.

Responsibilities
Heavy outbound sales calls targeting schools and districts in assigned territory
Generate new leads and establish an active pipeline via cold calling and sales prospecting
Stay current on company products, solutions and pricing
Research territory trends, competition and funding sources to strategically drive new sales
Reach out to prospective clients in efforts to drive news sales and secure appointments for Field Sales Representatives
Manage customer relationships and identify clients’ needs through constant communication via phone and email
Devise and implement effective campaigns within assigned region
Arrange presentation materials, cost proposals and follow-up collateral as needed by Field Sales Representatives
Use predetermined guidelines to help define new opportunities within assigned region
Prepare CRM reports as needed, improve contact database and document all activities in salesforce.com
Manage regional conference logistics and attend national conferences as company representative
Experience
1+ years of work experience in a fast paced corporate environment
Previous experience or interest in working in education (or ‘in the education field’) is a plus
Previous experience with SalesForce.com or similar CRM is a plus
Skills
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Professional and polished verbal and written communication skills are essential
Highly motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills, superb organizational skills and immaculate attention to detail
Must be available for travel throughout assigned territory
Education
* Bachelor’s degree required
