Overview
The ActionScript Developer at Modea works on projects such as Flash microsites and Air applications. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work with different types of people in various groups of our company. Nearly every project involves complex back-end integration using webservices or Flex. This role also requires a strong desire to stay on the forefront of new Adobe technologies and projects such as Flash 10, Papervision3D and BlazeDS. The ActionScript Developer provides technological leadership to continuously move Modea forward.

Skills
You have a passion for solving problems and participating in the creative conceptualization of new projects
You have excellent communication skills
You work well under the pressure of looming deadlines
You can quickly adapt to the changing needs of an Agile development process
Your work demonstrates a high level proficiency in ActionScript AS2.0 and AS3.0
You develop using a fully object-oriented (OOP) design pattern within an event driven framework
You have experience interacting with server-side systems using web services, BlazeDS, and Remoting
You have intimate knowledge of the Flash and FlexBuilder IDEs
You have a portfolio site or examples that clearly demonstrate your abilities for this position
You have the desire to lead and mentor members of your team
You must be authorized to work in the US full-time at our offices in Blacksburg, VA.
