Advertising Product Manager

If so, Zillow needs you. As a data-driven advertising-fuelled company we’ve developed cutting-edge ad technologies including a unique behavioral targeting suite. We will live or die by our ability to optimize performance for our advertising partners. We’re seeking a talented new member for our fast-growing business analytics team, to work with our sales and product teams to build our performance-based advertising business. We need a strong team player with a blend of business and analytic interests. This is a critical role that can grow in many possible directions as our team grows.
Responsibilities
Manage and optimize performance-driven campaigns
Develop experiments to test and distill out patterns across optimization levers
Collaborate with sales team to develop deals, providing analytic guidance on pricing, inventory and targeting
Work with advertising partners to understand their metrics and goals, determine how to test and deliver against them, and scale successful partnerships
Synthesize business requirements and work with business intelligence team to develop reporting systems
Develop and track advertising KPIs, and analyze trends and their drivers
Develop business requirements and work with product team to automate advertising processes
Experience
Solid business acumen and ability to relate business problems to analytics and vice versa.
Excellent quantitative and analytic skills. Ability to analyze data and translate into actionable insights which can be easily understood and utilized by the entire organization and our clients.
Strong proficiency in manipulation, analysis and presentation of data in Excel.
Superior interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to interact with a range of partners and to present complex concepts and analysis clearly and effectively.
Strong organizational skills. Can track issues and work with other parties to resolve them.
Ability to work in a team environment and to multi-task.
Education
Graduate degree in quantitative discipline and/or MBA highly desirable.
