We are looking a very gifted, motivated, organized and pragmatic product management leader to join our team to help OpenX deliver more value to our publishers by finding ways to drive full and fair value for advertising inventory online.
This person will lead product management for core technologies across all our commercial services efforts.
OpenX is at an early stage in its evolution so the potential for experiential, operational and economic upside is very significant for the right person.
A strong desire to help transform the online advertising market for the benefit of publishers, advertisers and users
Practical experience buildingonline advertising products and technology. Experience working in display advertising is particularly desirable but not required.
Experience deliveringadvertising products at scale and learning/iterating rapidly based on market feedback
Experience with Agile development processes
A very commercial mindset – extremely customer oriented, good understanding of the ad industry landscape/trends and implications for advertising system and business models.
A good understanding of how to build simple, highly intuitive tools and interfaces for publishers and advertisers.
The ability to easily switch between complex, conceptual topics and very operational execution issues (and back again)
Excellent teamwork and communications skills. In particular, we are looking for strength in building deep partnerships with engineering.
A very global orientation
A real passion to work in an hard-charging start-up environment with some ambiguity and few rules or processes
Academic training in computer science preferred. BS minimum, advanced degree preferred.
