Overview
What we’re looking for:

We’re adding several new team members. We’re looking for self-starters with the ability to take on a range of hard and intriguing challenges: from developing our highly scalable website, to integrating that service with other platforms – mobile, social networks – to large-scale data acquisition and processing.

Software development:

Songkick is a tech company. We work fast and lean. We use continuous deployment, pushing 10 releases a day with build/deploy times under 10 minutes. Our teams are small and focused. We work on deep technical problems; join us and you could be working on mobile apps used by millions of fans, web-scale infrastructure or data-driven recommendation systems, and many more.

The team includes some extraordinary engineers from around the world. You will work with the best and be challenged daily. We actively encourage learning new skills and you can move easily between projects.
Experience
Experience building awesome high-scale, low latency web apps.
Excited to use Agile methodologies such as TDD, pair programming, refactoring, continuous integration.
Ability to work in a flexible manner, building prototypes fast and evolving these into scalable production-quality systems.
You learn fast: quickly picking up new tech and using it in production software.
You have an analytic mindset.
Ruby on Rails experience.
Contributions to open source projects.
Worked with MySQL, Apache, and automated test tools.
Worked on a Service-Oriented Architecture.
A love of live music in any form.
