Application Developer @ Songkick

at Songkick in UK   —   May 20, 2013   |
Overview
We’re looking for experienced developers to join our team. We work fast and are responsive to our users. We have our own usability lab to help us understand what works and what doesn’t. You’ll work in flexible teams across the products to help us drive our business forwards. Our Service-Oriented Architecture and Page/Component application model helps us create new applications fast and maintain our existing code. We use continuous deployment to release code many times a day. You’ll contribute to the whole product, not just the technology, and get to work with the very best developers in the UK.

Songkick is the great live music startup. Tell us who your favourite artists are, and we’ll alert you when they play a concert in your city, so you never miss your favourite band play live. Our service has over 8 million monthly unique users and is growing fast. We’ve recently launched Detour - crowdfunding for concerts - and it’s already a big success. We’re backed by some of the best VCs, including Index Ventures and Sequoia. Our users come from around the world - we’re a truly global company.

Songkick is one of London’s first tech startups and has been built from day one as a true startup. Everyone gets stock options. We have weekly team lunches. We have our own kitchen in the office. We play foosball, ping pong, 5-a-side and yoga together. We regularly go to concerts, festivals and conferences. There is deep collaboration between all parts of the company: development, design, product, user support, sales and strategy.
