doggyloot is the leading website for the discovery of curated dog-related products and has hundreds of thousands of members that visit its website. doggyloot is a well-funded, VC-backed startup that was founded within the Startup Foundry at Sandbox Industries in early 2011. doggyloot also recently closed a Series A round of funding for $2.5 million led by Origin Ventures, known for investing in numerous tech companies such as GrubHub.

The US pet product market is HUGE with over 46 million US households having a dog. There are actually more dogs (over 75 million) than children in the US. The size of the market for pet food and supplies is over $30 billion and has grown by over 200% in the last ten years. doggyloot is positioned to revolutionize the pet e-commerce space. Our energetic and experienced buying team is busy building supplier relationships and we seek someone to help with planning events (product runs) and optimizing inventory levels. This is a great opportunity to gain experience with a promising, funded startup company.
Collaboratively build web applications with our development team
1–3 years of experience developing websites using an open source framework/platform (Rails, Django or Node)
Background in graphic or product design
Working knowledge of Unix and Git
Love of Backbone, Ember or dogs is a plus
