Handybook is changing the way people buy services by offering an online platform where users can instantly book a cleaner or handyman. We’re seeking an Assistant Account Executive who will work closely with out PR firm in the contuing efforts of expanding Handybook's impact. You will be working in a fast-paced, fun environment, and you will have responsibility from day one.
We are looking to expand our team with junior account executives across all practice areas, including Issues & Crisis, Consumer/Lifestyle and Celebrity/Entertainment. Prospective candidates should have one year or internship experience in public relations, polished verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, be highly organized, detail oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. Our agency has a start-up mindset and we are looking for creative, motivated and talented individuals to join the team effort. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and solid research, writing and editing skills. S/he should have the ability to develop relationship with media and apply experience and initiative in developing traditional and digital media relations strategies.
