GLOSSYBOX is a monthly subscriptions service of product samples in the beauty, fashion and lifestyle segments. We need several people with a strong interest in beauty and lifestyle to fill a variety of positions.
Essential job function:
The Assistant Brand Relationship Manager is a critical role within the organization, reporting directly to the Head of Brand Management. He or she is an active team member in building and managing strong relationships/identifying potential partnership opportunities with high-end beauty luxury brands. We are entering a new and exciting space and you will have the opportunity to help create the vision and strategy from the outset. You will be up against some aggressive, time-sensitive goals so you will need to think strategically about how, where and when we can partner with new and interesting brands in your assigned category.
Work with the Head of Brand Management in successfully identifying and building up a portfolio of relationships with high-end brands in the beauty category
Identify leads and develop a robust brand acquisition pipeline of exciting, high-end brands
Provide effective and compelling sales pitches and presentations to potential brand partners and convert these leads into strong partnerships in the long-term
Supervise / manage accounts and relationships in order to maintain partner satisfaction while identifying new opportunities to grow the business
Continuously monitor accounts and provide up-to-date reports on relationship strength and potential
Keep a 'pulse' on the new and latest developments in this category and continuously provide a fresh perspective on future product selection and trends
Strong work experience in Business Development / Relationship Management, ideally in the beauty goods industry
Personal network in the beauty industry with in the Beauty industry would be key
Passion for beautiful products and the latest trends in the prestige beauty category
Very strong communication skills – able to convince people of your value proposition at first impression and able to build long-term relationships
Highly energetic, enjoys working with people and managing partnerships and teams
Very well organized and structured; able to implement rigorous tracking and reporting
High motivation, flexibility and work ethic
Authorization to work in the U.S.
