The Assistant Technical Trainer Co-Op will be responsible for coordinating technical and software development training activities and materials for the purpose of keeping our teams consistent in quality of work and best practices. The trainer will coordinate the technical portion of a new employee’s on boarding as well as ongoing classes and sessions to share new knowledge and skills.
Conceptualizes and executes technical training programs
Delivers technical training programs and supporting materials using appropriate training methods, multimedia and course/curriculum materials
Works with engineering teams in the design, development, and/or updating of training programs and supporting materials such as training guides and other handouts consistent with product updates and releases
Coordinates scheduling and logistics of training sessions and maintains records of training programs and user progress
Adapts ongoing internal technology presentations into new training sessions
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher
Proven experience using MS Office
Proven ability to deliver general presentations
Experience using Linux/Unix a plus
Experience with agile software development tools and practices a plus
Must be able to write clear, understandable curriculum about highly technical subjects
Active member of the wider technical community
