BiggerPockets.com, one of the leading Denver startups, continues to build our rapidly growing real estate investing social network (145,000+ members, close to 500,000 unique monthly visitors) and is looking for a talented Marketing Assistant to help us forge forward through the next stages of our development. BiggerPockets has been featured in leading print, online and broadcast media, including Bloomberg, Kiplingers, CNBC, The New York Times, NPR, US News & World Report, The Denver Post, CBS4 Denver and many others.
Our goal is to change lives and to help improve the financial well-being of our users. We're working to transform our industry by establishing the one stop-shop for the real estate investment space that includes social, data, and SaaS to facilitate user networking, education, deal making, and marketing. Think LinkedIn meets Mint for the real estate investment space.
We're looking for someone to work directly with our CEO and other senior staff. This individual must thrive in a start-up environment and must be willing to work flexible hours and must be incredibly focused.
Assist in the daily management / administration of the BiggerPockets portal
Serve as the 'right hand' of BiggerPockets' CEO
Help with customer service queries
Strategy planning to increase registrants, brand awareness, and other projects
Management and scheduling of podcast and blog content calendars
Assist in content curation, creation, and editing
Industry outreach and PR
Social media outreach & monitoring
Handle highly confidential and sensitive information
Handle dynamic calendar management to coordinate internal and external meetings, presentations, and travel
Work schedule may include weekends and late nights; occasional special projects may require additional dedication
Provide executive level support to CEO and other staff

Exceptional judgment, complete trustworthiness, and consistent professionalism
Highly organized, detail-oriented, loyal, and efficient
Office [Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc], Wordpress, HTML, SEO, Graphic design
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and take ownership of a project
Professional email and phone personality
BA / BS degree or higher (MBA a plus) from an excellent school with a focus in Business or Communications.
$25k-$30k to start. Medical and dental benefits available.
