Overview
Crowdtap, a dynamic NYC social marketing startup, is looking for a rising star to join our business development team at the ground level. Lauched officially at South by Southwest in 2011 and recently named Mashable's Up-and-Coming Social Media Service, Crowdtap is already working with over 25 Fortune 1000 brands and many of the country’s leading agencies. Crowdtap was incubated within Mr. Youth, one of Fast Company’s Top 10 most influential marketing and advertising companies and is located in Union Square.

Crowdtap is the Influencer Marketing Platform. The system allows marketers to easily identify and activate their most influential consumers for research and peer-to-peer marketing. For consumers, Crowdtap is a marketing themed, social game.

Come excited to contribute to a passionate, visionary team with deep experience and relentless drive--As an Associate Account Manager you will be the lynchpin of the business development team, managing day-to-day client communications, supporting outbound strategic engagements and playing a key operational role within the company. You’ll be interacting with some of the world’s leading brands, agencies, and start-ups on a daily basis, helping them to get the most out of the Crowdtap platform. Your feedback on the client experience will play an important role in helping to shape the direction of the platform. The skills you will develop will lay the groundwork for future opportunities within the Account Management and Business Development teams so sky is the limit!
Responsibilities
Creatively assist clients to use the platform, assisting them to get the most from Crowdtap:
Manage day-to-day relationships with a roster of top brands
Support the business development team on an as-needed basis
Assist in the development of pitches for new business engagements
Help maintain the client support collateral materials
Moderate content launched by clients to ensure the site maintains its quality
Help write copy for client facing communications, including emails and newsletters
Skills

Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail
Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
Social media and marketing savvy
An entrepreneurial background and/or attitude
A desire to learn the inner workings of a start-up, grow and evolve with it
A love for problem-solving
A positive attitude
A sense of humor is a plus
Open to occasional travel
Education
A College Degree from a reputable university in marketing, journalism, business or a related field.
