Associate Script Editor

at Howcast Media, Inc. in New York, NY   —   Apr 02, 2014   |
Overview
Are you Howcast's new Associate Script Editor? Read on to find out! Reporting to the editorial director and working directly with seasoned writers, the associate script editor will take the first pass at editing entertaining and informative how-to scripts on a wide variety of subjects. This full-time position in our New York office will also be responsible for incorporating changes from top editors, researchers, copy editors, and, in some cases, clients and partners, ensuring that the scripting process proceeds smoothly from start to finish. Each of our written guides provides the basis for every Howcast video, so candidates must possess the ability to conceptualize words spoken aloud and acted out, not just read on the page. There's plenty of room for creativity, not to mention a highly developed sense of humor.
