About the Position
Perform statistical analysis and create new advertising models to advance collective knowledge of social media advertising. Write summary reports and/ or presentations that translate the results of analyses into non-technical results understandable by non-statisticians. This position reports to the VP of Product Management & Innovation.
Statistical modeling and analysis
Monitoring model performance and making recommendations, as needed
Help analyze and develop advertising algorithms to maximize client campaign goals
Help develop industry benchmarks to be used by Marketing and Sales
Work with Professional Services teams to organize tests using scientific advertising
Prepare ad-hoc analysis and reporting as requested.
Retrieval, cleansing and analysis of large amounts of data from multiple source systems to understand client-specific campaign performance
Manipulation and transformation of complex data sets
In-depth understanding of the interrelationships of data
Discovering and extracting new data and drawing conclusions to advance collective advertising knowledge
Bachelors Degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics or related field.
Advanced degree a plus
High degree of experience with Statistics Suite – Matlab, SPSS or SAS
5 Years experience in Statistics or related quantitative field
4 Years experience in Statistical modeling techniques such as linear regression, logistic regression, power regression, multi-variate analysis (Taguchi method, etc.)
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Deep understanding of relational databases and SQL
Ability to manage to deadlines and deliver on commitments
Ability to juggle multiple projects on a daily basis
Advanced degree in Statistics or related quantitative field
