Overview

We are a well funded startup seeking a back end developer to work on a large scale web application. The ideal developer is skilled in web development with RESTful APIs preferably using Python or Ruby on Rails. The developer may work remotely or if possible in our NYC office.

Job Requirements:
Work under limited direction
Experience developing RESTful APIs
Knowledge of objected-oriented analysis and design
Knowledge of common software design patterns

Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years web development experience with Python or Ruby on Rails
Experience with RESTful APIs in a large scale web application

Compensation

We offer a competitive salary ($120k-$140k) as well as equity, a generous benefits package and flexible vacation/sick time.
