We provide tools for anyone to find or develop web widgets, make iPhone compatible mobile sites (in HTML5), and build next-generation advertisements using a simple to use self-service platform. Widgetbox has millions of users and serves almost one billion impressions a month. We bring products to market through two brands: Widgetbox for consumers and casual internet publishers http://www.widgetbox.com/overview and ClickTurn our Advertising focused brand for Large Publishers and Advertisers http://www.clickturn.com . Responsibilities
Working knowledge of both Hive & Hadoop
Fluent in Java
Strong OO Design
ORM (e.g., Hibernate) / MySQL / database technologies
experience with Servlets and JSP
XML
Development experience with Service Oriented Architecture
Solid track record of meeting deliverable targets, and taking part in successful releases
Strong understanding of technologies used in large-scale internet web sites
Skills
Understanding of and passion for rich media advertising
Self-starter with excellent problems solving, project management, and interpersonal skills
Great attention to detail and follow through
Ability to see the bigger picture with creative execution
Good understanding of analytics
Must have a great attitude and good communication skills
Education
CS or similar background/Education
