♣ We are a young team of six excited games enthusiasts working hard on changing the mobile gaming landscape for the better, bringing Free2Win games with depth to mobile.
♠ We raised a six-figure angel investment to get started (so well funded!)
♥ Our first title is in the testing and polishing phase and will be released this fall
What are my responsibilities?
♣ Take charge of our server-side development and devops/infrastructure functions
♠ Maintain our game server (Windows 2008) in the cloud (Azure) and implement new features (f.e. new gameplay features)
♥ Perform load and stress testing, to ensure the multiplayer matches run stable at all times
♦ Build the server infrastructure for our next game
What requirements does the job have?
♣ Outstanding academic achievements in a technical field and deep understanding of computer science fundamentals
♠ Experience with server programming and network communication (protocols, streams, connections, multithreading, sockets, message handling, memory handling, database handling, security, reliability)
♥ Strong with C#
♦ Outstanding communication skills and a 'getting things done' mentality
♣ Academic degree obtained in the last 2 years (relevant for subsidy)
♠ Game development (Game Center, Appstore, Unity 3D)
♥ Cloud infrastructure experience
♦ Startup mindset: resourcefulness and speed are prized
