Isis is an early-stage technology start-up joint venture between AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon. We are using near-field communication (NFC) technology in smartphones to bring mobile payments to the mass market. Isis combines the exciting fast pace of a start-up with the incredible resources of our carrier partners, and we’re looking to revolutionize how consumers shop and pay with their smartphones.
Within Commerce, we are building out the company’s go-to-market strategy and creating an unprecedented advertising business to monetize the Isis platform. We are changing the way businesses talk to their consumers, and vice versa.
Responsibilities
Document business requirements
Review business requirements, translate to system requirements specifications with details
Understand, analyze data flow through integrated systems internally and externally
Own issues list, drive and address open questions and follow-ups until all clarified and resolved
Collaborate with business users and development teams to clearly understand, accurately document requirements and communicate those requirements
Understand logical and physical data models
Develop data mapping routines / schemes to populate database from external data sources
Develop test plans / specifications based upon requirements with business and quality assurance teams
Perform unit / system testing / validation based upon requirements, and documented test specifications
Defects analysis and defect management - drive the defect lifecycle completion in a timely manner and until it’s fully resolved
Experience
Experienced in Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid software development and delivery environment
Business knowledge with contactless NFC service, payment, eCommerce, security and related areas is a plus
Business Intelligence (BI) & Data Warehousing (DW) experience with Mobile Payment, Finance, Marketing, Sales and Operational areas
Digital analytics knowledge is a plus
Good people skills
Extremely detail oriented, and well organized
Excellent listening, and comprehensive skills on interpreting business requirements precisely, and translate to system requirements specifications (SRS) accurately
Extremely open minded to capture feedbacks, ideas and new suggestions
Highly efficient verbal and written communication skills with business customers and technology teams
Extensive working experience in fast pace technology heavy organization and delivery oriented, focused environment, with a passion for developing great products
Communicate consistent messages
Highly flexible and accountable
Highly self-motivated and creative on driving for solution
Excellent team player
Skills
Ability to translate high-level business requirements into functional and technical solutions
Develop and maintain system requirement specifications and solution architecture documents
Create and maintain use case and system flow diagrams
Ability to partner with the support organization to triage and address technical issues encountered by end users
Experience with design patterns, UML
Experience with database fundamentals and SQL
Prior experience as a technical / business analyst with payments processing, credit card or debit card strongly desired
Education
BS/BA , preferred majoring in MIS & Computer Sciences, MS/PHD is a plus
