Overview
The Business Development team creates and manages high-value partnerships with online content publishers utilizing the Meebo Bar . The Business Development Associate for the team will be externally facing, working to secure new publisher relationships for Meebo and manage existing relationships. Ideal candidates are creative problem solvers, team-focused, resourceful, and strategic salespeople who are driven to exceed goals and move up through our ranks. A passion for media, technology, and relationship building are a must.
Responsibilities
Prospect and generate new business through calls and in person meetings with senior leaders at premium publishers
Build concise, effective marketing materials
Manage existing relationships while delivering internal and external performance updates. Grow existing client business through new cross-selling of new Meebo products and monetization tools.
Diligently and effectively manage partner launch funnel, revenue reporting, and revenue forecasts. Financial modeling experience a plus.
Assist in managing contract negotiations and due diligence processes
Increase awareness about Meebo within early stage startups and Fortune 500 media companies by evangelizing the efficacy of our platform and capabilities
Experience
Client-oriented approach, with creative, proactive problem solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively with external partners as well product marketing, advertising operations, and other internal teams in a fast paced, dynamic environment
Flexibility, patience, and a roll-up-your-sleeves work ethic
Excellent writing and communication skills. Active interest in the online publisher landscape (mobile/tablet apps, social media networks, advertising & marketing, video, et al)
Bachelor's degree; 1-3 years of work experience
Ideal candidate has the drive of a sales person, is technically proficient, and is passionate about developing deep ties in the premium digital landscape.
