Lead Generation: identify and develop leads based on fit and specific qualification criteria. Contact prospective customers by phone, email and/or in-person meetings with key decision makers to pitch the product and convey value propositions
Deal Closing: follow-up with leads to convert into signed customers
Merchant Onboarding: steward signed merchants onto the marketplace and assist in the initial set-up of their storefronts; communicate and educate merchants on the order process and administration basics of managing their storefront.
Relationship Management: manage existing merchant relationships and help address any issues that may arise
Previous experience working with small businesses a HUGE plus
Very strong written and spoken communication skills
Strong organizational and planning skills
Persistent and positive character
Undergraduate degree (or exceptional, current undergraduate student) from a top-tier university
100% commission-based, 8-week contract position with potential opportunity to extend into a longer-term engagement based on candidate’s performance.
