Business Development Executive

Overview
MobAd, a fast-growing direct response mobile advertising start-up agency, is looking for an outgoing and motivated sales person to initiate B2B contact and drive new business partnerships with B2C companies. The role will primarily involve emailing and cold calling high level executives in charge of budget, informing them of our services, discovering their mobile advertising requirements and establishing profitable relationships with them. Candidates must be comfortable conversing with senior figures and able to present a polished and professional image to potential clients. This role offers candidates considerable earning potential and the chance to immerse themselves in an exciting and rapidly expanding industry. An interest in and knowledge of the mobile media space is of course preferable!
Responsibilities
Develop an effective sales methodology and process
High volume cold calling of potential clients (door opening)
Qualify suitability of potential clients for working with MobAd and explore business synergies
Look to develop strategic partnerships and contribute to the growth of the business wherever possible
Market research in support of new business opportunity formulation
Experience
1-2 years cold calling experience with demonstrable proof of success
Skills
Proactive and confident communicator
Ability to deal with setbacks and thrive in a challenging environment
An ability and desire to use initiative to generate profitable business opportunities
Good organisational and time management skills
Fast learner
Enthusiasm for working in a start-up environment
Education
Degree from a top 20 UK university or equivalent preferable but not necessary
Compensation
Very competitive salary - negotiable depending on experience and sales ability
